If a vendor has just pitched you an AI concierge, ask one question before the demo: who is it built for? The same two words now sell a feature inside studio software, a plan for online stores, hotel guest messaging, a phone platform, website answer engines and an enterprise support suite. Same name. Six different purchases.
Here is the short answer. An AI concierge is an assistant that answers a customer and then acts on the request: it books the class, changes the order or routes the housekeeping request to staff, instead of only pointing to an FAQ. Whether a vendor sells it as an AI concierge service, a plan or a feature, that second step is what you are paying for.
I read every product page, pricing page and FAQ cited here on 22 October 2026. I did not sign up for, trial or test any of them, so every feature claim below is the vendor's own, quoted where it matters.
The seven are sorted by the business that buys one, with the two enterprise purchases last. Three publish a price. If you wanted a concierge for your own errands, that has its own short answer, and if this is one of several jobs you want off your plate, start with the AI tools a small business actually uses.
Seven AI concierges, one line each
An AI concierge answers a customer, then does something about it. Seven sold under the name, read on 22 October 2026:
- Mindbody AI Concierge texts and chats with studio clients and books their classes; it comes with Mindbody's quote-priced Ultimate plan.
- Rep AI's AI Concierge plan sells and supports on an online store: $130 a month at 10,000 sessions billed monthly, or $105 billed yearly.
- AI-Concierge answers on a website and pre-sorts requests: 150 EUR a month to set up, then from 250 EUR a month, excluding VAT.
- Sojern AI Concierge routes hotel guests' requests to staff, priced by consultation.
- Concierge answers buyers' questions on B2B SaaS websites, priced by demo.
- Synthflow answers phone calls for big teams, with contracts from $30,000 a year.
- Decagon calls itself "the AI concierge for every customer" and sells to enterprise support teams by demo.
Three publish a price. Start from the business you run.
What is an AI concierge?
An AI concierge is a conversational assistant that takes a customer's request from the question to the action. The one academic definition here comes from a 2024 conceptual paper in the Journal of Service Management, by Liu and colleagues: "a technologically advanced, intelligent and personalized assistant that is designated to an individual customer, proactively taking care of that customer's needs throughout the service journey."
The paper is conceptual, with no survey or sample behind it. It sorts AI concierges into four forms, from a "dialog interface (no embodiment)" up to a "tangible service robot (embodiment in the physical world)". Every product in this guide is the first kind: a conversation in a chat window, a text thread or a phone call.
Decagon's glossary gives the term's origin: "The term originates from hospitality, where concierges act as dedicated problem-solvers for guests."
Vendors draw the line against chatbots at action. Mindbody's FAQ says "Traditional chatbots follow scripted paths and can only answer a limited set of pre-defined questions," and that its AI Concierge "uses live data from your Mindbody account, and can take action by booking, rescheduling, and canceling appointments." For the longer version, here is how an AI agent differs from a chatbot.
How I compared them
Every product got the same five questions. I answered each one from the vendor's own pages:
- Who is it built for? A yoga studio on Mindbody and an enterprise support team both hear "AI concierge" and need very different things.
- Which channel does it work in? Mostly chat and text messages; Synthflow is built for phone calls, and Decagon adds voice.
- What does one plan buy? The unit changes by vendor: Rep AI counts website sessions, while AI-Concierge counts questions answered.
- Is a price published? Three say yes.
- Who takes over when it gets stuck? Look for where the conversation lands when the AI cannot finish it, and who on your team sees it there.
Prices come from each vendor's own page on 22 October 2026, with the billing state noted where a page has a toggle. Rep AI's page opens at 80,000 sessions a month, so the table uses its 10,000 tier, the smallest where the bundle carries a price. Mindbody's pricing header showed a different figure when loaded from India, so the $79 here is the US price, which matches Mindbody's own US pricing blog.
Quick comparison
| Product | Built for | Channels | Published price (Oct 2026) | Free plan or trial | What one plan buys |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mindbody AI Concierge | Studios, salons and spas on Mindbody | SMS, web chat, missed-call follow-up | In quote-priced Ultimate (add-on on Accelerate); the $79/mo per location Starter plan excludes it | None stated | A Mindbody plan, per location |
| Rep AI (AI Concierge plan) | Online stores | Website chat (email, social and WhatsApp as a beta add-on) | $130/mo at 10,000 sessions billed monthly; $105/mo billed yearly | 14-day trial, no card | A tier of monthly website sessions |
| AI-Concierge (goodguys) | Tourism, public communication and advice-heavy websites | Website, multilingual | 150 EUR/mo during setup, then from 250 EUR/mo, excl. VAT | None | 500 questions and answers a month |
| Sojern AI Concierge | Hotels | SMS, WhatsApp, chat, Sojern's app | By consultation | None stated | Not stated |
| Concierge | B2B SaaS websites | Website answer engine | By demo | None stated | Not stated |
| Synthflow (AI Concierge) | Enterprise phone lines | Phone calls | Contracts from $30,000/year | None | A scoped contract (call volume, concurrency) |
| Decagon | Enterprise support teams | Chat, voice, email | By demo | None stated | Not stated |
Prices from each vendor's own page on 22 October 2026. Rep AI is shown at 10,000 sessions a month (its page defaults to 80,000); AI-Concierge prices are in euros, excluding VAT.
Three cells in the price column hold a price for the concierge itself. The other four hold a meeting: Mindbody's concierge plans are quote-based, Sojern books a consultation, and Concierge and Decagon sell by demo. Read the last column too, because the billing unit changes at every vendor that publishes a price.
1. Mindbody AI Concierge: best for studios, salons and spas already on Mindbody

Mindbody's AI Concierge is a feature built into Mindbody's own studio software, powered by Playlist, which Mindbody names as its parent company. It answers client questions over SMS and web chat, follows up on missed calls and captures leads, and it books, reschedules and cancels appointments and classes against your real-time availability.
The pitch is that you set nothing up. Its FAQ: "it already knows your services, staff, pricing, real-time availability, and client history, so there's no manual setup or data import required." Staff see every conversation in one inbox and get an alert when someone needs to step in. The FAQ names hair salons, nail salons, day spas, yoga and Pilates studios, gyms and personal training businesses as the fit.
The $79 Mindbody plan does not include it.
The header on Mindbody's US pricing page reads "Starting at $79 USD/month per location". That buys Starter. The comparison row for AI Concierge shows Starter without it, Accelerate with it as an add-on and Ultimate with it included, and both of those plan cards say "LET'S TALK" where a price would sit. Mindbody's own pricing blog confirms Accelerate and Ultimate are quote-based. So as of October 2026, the entry price for this concierge is whatever a Mindbody rep quotes you. Coaches who run their admin outside Mindbody have other options in AI for fitness coaches.
Pros
- No setup or data import, per its FAQ
- Books, reschedules and cancels against live availability
- One inbox, with alerts when staff need to step in
Cons
- Only for businesses that run on Mindbody
- The plans that include it have no published price
- Its pages say it follows up on missed calls; they do not say it answers live ones
- Best for
- A studio, salon or spa that already books through Mindbody.
- Pricing
- Starter $79 a month per location (US) without AI Concierge; Accelerate (add-on) and Ultimate (included) by quote. As of October 2026.
- Verdict
- Ask for the Ultimate quote and the Accelerate add-on price side by side.
2. Rep AI: best for online stores that want sales and support in one chat

Rep AI sells three plans for a store's website chat: an AI Sales Agent, an AI Support Agent and AI Concierge, which bundles the two. Its homepage FAQ defines the term in shop language: "An AI concierge is an intelligent assistant that helps shoppers discover products, compare options, answer questions, and complete purchases through conversation." What the bundle does, per Rep AI's own pages:
- On the sales side, it spots shoppers about to drop off and recommends products, and it can chase an abandoned cart.
- Support covers order status and returns, plus cancelling or changing an order.
- When a shopper needs a person, the chat goes "to human agents in connected tools like Zendesk or Gorgias".
- Its FAQ is written around Shopify stores: "Most brands can connect their Shopify catalog and help center and go live within minutes."
You pay by website sessions, and the bundle starts at 10,000 a month.
The price rises with the session tier. A slider sets monthly website sessions, a toggle switches between monthly and yearly billing, and the AI Concierge bundle at each tier read on 22 October 2026 looks like this:
| Sessions a month | Billing | AI Concierge price |
|---|---|---|
| 3,000 | Monthly or yearly | "Custom" |
| 10,000 | Monthly | $130 a month |
| 10,000 | Yearly | $105 a month |
| 25,000 | Monthly | $263 a month |
| 50,000 | Monthly | $462 a month |
| 80,000 (the page's default) | Monthly | $726 a month |
| 500,000 and up | Not stated | Enterprise, "Custom pricing" |
Yearly prices for 25,000 sessions and up are not shown here; the page says yearly billing saves 20%.
On 22 October 2026 Rep AI's homepage plan cards showed AI Concierge "Starting at" $118 a month, which matches no tier on the pricing page, so price your store from the slider. If you are the shopper rather than the store, this comparison of AI shopping assistants covers your side of the chat.
Pros
- Bundle prices printed from 10,000 to 80,000 sessions
- A 14-day trial, no card
- Unlimited seats
Cons
- Priced by traffic: $726 a month at 80,000 sessions billed monthly, as of October 2026
- The bundle is "Custom" at 3,000 sessions
- Email, social and WhatsApp are a separately priced beta add-on
- Free tier
- No free plan. A 14-day free trial on every plan, no card.
3. AI-Concierge: best for websites that field the same questions all day

AI-Concierge is a website assistant from goodguys GmbH in Vienna, and a different company from the Concierge in section 5. It answers from your website and documents in several languages, pre-sorts incoming requests and prepares "bookings, forms, routing or other next steps". The customers it names run "from tourism and public communication to companies with consultation-heavy websites." You can run it in the cloud, on-premises or as a hybrid.
Setup is billed as its own phase before the assistant goes live.
The pricing has two stages, in euros and excluding VAT, as of October 2026. Both are billed by the month:
- Discovery costs 150 EUR a month for setup, testing and refinement. It typically takes two to three weeks, six months at most, and billing starts at project commitment.
- Production runs from 250 EUR a month for 500 questions and answers, with 10% of them left off the bill as fair use. Larger volumes are priced on request.
- Best for
- Tourism offices, public bodies and advice-heavy websites that answer the same questions in several languages.
- Pricing
- Discovery 150 EUR a month (typically 2 to 3 weeks, maximum 6 months), then production from 250 EUR a month for 500 questions and answers, excluding VAT. As of October 2026.
Pros
- One of three here with a published price
- Fair use leaves 10% of questions off the bill
- An on-premises option
Cons
- Euros only, excluding VAT
- Integrations priced per project
- 500 questions a month at the entry level
Integrations, API connections and special logic are priced per project. Get that number in writing before project commitment, because that is when billing starts.
4. Sojern AI Concierge: best for hotels that want guest requests routed to staff

Sojern, a travel marketing company, sells an AI Concierge for hotels. It answers guests around the clock over SMS, WhatsApp, chatbots and Sojern's mobile app, routes housekeeping and maintenance requests, and suggests on-site dining and spa services. It connects to hotel systems through what the page calls "100+ PMS, CMS, and CDP partners, including leading platforms like Oracle and HotelKey". There is no price on the page; the buttons say "Book a Consultation" and "Let's Talk".
Hotel pricing lives in a different guide.
If you run a hotel, my guide to AI for hotels covers eight front-desk tools, so you can see which ones publish a price before you take a sales call.
Hoteza sells a similar product, the "Hoteza AI Concierge Chatbot", which works on WhatsApp, in-app chat, the web and in-room TV. Its page shows no price either, and the button says "Book a Demo".
Pros
- Built around hotel work, from housekeeping requests to spa upsells
- Many guest channels, WhatsApp and Sojern's own app included
Cons
- No published price
- Sojern's own outcome figures carry no comparator
5. Concierge: best for B2B SaaS websites that want buyers' questions answered

Concierge, from Concierge AI Technologies, describes itself as "a customized AI answer engine built for your B2B SaaS brand." A buyer asks a question on your website and gets an answer "trained on your voice and informed by your content."
The product is aimed at the sales pipeline. It generates "Smart CTAs" inside the conversation, sends buyers to "the right rep, region, or calendar", and reports which questions "actually close deals". It is sold by demo, and the site's menu has no pricing link.
The concierge.ai address now shows a parked page.
This is the name collision nobody on the first page of results points out. On 22 October 2026, concierge.ai ranked second on Google in the US for "ai concierge" and first for "concierge ai", and the page behind it was a GoDaddy notice: "This domain is registered, but may still be available." Concierge's site is tryconcierge.ai (its logo still reads "concierge.ai", which does not help), and AI-Concierge at ai-concierge.com, in section 3, is a different company again. Write down the vendor and the web address before you book a demo.
Pros
- Built for the sales pipeline
- Reports which questions close deals
Cons
- No published price
- For B2B SaaS companies only
- A name that collides with a parked domain and an Austrian vendor
Its own /pricing address returned "Page not found" on 22 October 2026.
The last two are enterprise purchases. If you run one location, stop at five. A small business whose real problem is a phone that rings out wants an AI receptionist for a small business, a separate category with its own prices.
6. Synthflow: best for phone lines at enterprise call volume

Synthflow builds voice agents, and its AI Concierge page is about the phone: "AI Concierge for 24/7 Customer Calls and Support". The agents answer calls, book appointments, update CRM records, send confirmations and transfer urgent calls, working with "your existing phone systems". The same page also calls the product an "AI Receptionist" and an "AI Answering Service", so read the name as a use-case label. If you want a self-serve voice platform you can price by the minute, see voice agent platforms, priced per 1,000 minutes.
Synthflow sells it only as an enterprise contract.
The pricing page lists one plan and one price: "Enterprise contracts start at $30,000 annually." As of October 2026 it shows no self-serve plan and no free tier, and the final price is scoped around call volume, concurrency, telephony, integrations, security and launch support. What the contract covers, per the same page:
- Phone setup: works on Synthflow's own telephony or on a system you already run.
- Call design: concurrency, routing, escalation and fallback logic, planned for your volume.
- Integrations: the contract scopes your CRM, calendar, contact-center stack, webhooks, API and knowledge sources.
- Security: an enterprise security review and data-handling terms.
- People: implementation, onboarding, testing and training sit inside the contract, and the AI Concierge page mentions "forward-deployed engineers".
Pros
- Works with your existing phone system or Synthflow's own telephony
- Setup, testing and training are in the contract
Cons
- From $30,000 a year, as of October 2026
- No self-serve plan
- The one plan's button says Contact Sales
- Best for
- Call centers and large support lines with enough volume to plan concurrency around.
- Pricing
- Enterprise contracts from $30,000 a year, scoped by call volume, concurrency and integrations. As of October 2026.
- Free tier
- None.
7. Decagon: best for enterprise support teams across chat, voice and email

Decagon held the top Google result in the US for "ai concierge" on 22 October 2026, and its homepage headline is the phrase itself: "The AI concierge for every customer". It is an enterprise support platform ("Decagon unifies chat, voice, and email within a single intelligence layer"), and its glossary gives a vendor definition to set beside the paper's: an AI concierge is "an AI-powered virtual assistant designed to handle personalized, end-to-end customer interactions".
In Decagon, you write the agent's rules in plain language.
The homepage puts the method in one line: "Agent Operating Procedures (AOPs) let you define agent workflows in natural language." When a conversation goes past what the agent can handle, the glossary says it "hands off to a human agent with full context intact".
No price is published. Decagon's /pricing address returned a 404 twice on 22 October 2026, the buttons say "Get a demo", and the outcome percentages on its homepage tiles carry no source line, so none is repeated here. For other support agents, from helpdesk add-ons to enterprise platforms, see AI agents for customer support.
Pros
- One layer for chat, voice and email
- Workflows written in natural language
- Its glossary describes handoff to a person with the context intact
Cons
- No published price; its /pricing address returned a 404 twice
- An enterprise sales process
Is there an AI concierge for personal use?
Not among the products in this guide. All seven are bought by a business for its customers, and on 22 October 2026 a US Google search for "personal AI concierge" still returned hotel guest-service tools.
If you want help with your own email, calendar and errands, look at AI personal assistant apps. For trips (people search for that as an AI travel concierge), the AI travel agent comparison sorts the planners by which ones actually book.
Which one should you choose?
Start from the business you run. The name on the product tells you very little. Prices below are as of October 2026.
- A studio, salon or spa on Mindbody: ask Mindbody for an Ultimate quote, or Accelerate with the add-on. The $79 Starter plan does not include AI Concierge.
- An online store: Rep AI. Start the 14-day trial and price the plan at your real session count.
- A tourism office, council or advice-heavy website: AI-Concierge, if euro billing and a paid setup phase suit you.
- A hotel: Sojern or Hoteza for a quote, and the hotels guide for tools with published prices.
- A B2B SaaS website: Concierge, at tryconcierge.ai.
- Enterprise call volume: Synthflow, with a budget that starts at $30,000 a year.
- An enterprise support team: Decagon.
If you run a clinic, a real-estate office or a trade, and the real problem is a phone that rings out, that is a receptionist job. What an AI receptionist costs has its own guide, and AI answering services compared with humans covers after-hours calls.
Some concierge work never reaches a chat window. If your customers' questions land in Gmail, Gravity's catalog in October 2026 includes an Inbox assistant that sorts new mail each morning, drafts replies in your voice for you to approve, and never sends an email for you. Gravity is an AI agent platform: you type the task, it matches an expert-built agent that runs it, and recurring automations can run on a schedule. Basic is free with one agent, and Pro is $5 a month during the beta. Gravity is in public beta: Explore agents.
For the rules behind an assistant like that, inbox triage with an AI agent walks through the setup and the first 30 days.
FAQ
1. What is an AI concierge?
An AI concierge is a conversational assistant that answers a customer and then acts on the request, for example by booking a class, changing an order or routing a request to staff. A 2024 conceptual paper in the Journal of Service Management defines it as "a technologically advanced, intelligent and personalized assistant that is designated to an individual customer, proactively taking care of that customer's needs throughout the service journey."
2. Can you give me an example of an AI concierge?
Mindbody's AI Concierge books, reschedules and cancels classes over SMS and web chat for businesses on Mindbody. Rep AI's AI Concierge plan recommends products and handles order status and returns on an online store, and Sojern's routes hotel guests' housekeeping requests to staff. Synthflow's answers phone calls and books appointments.
3. How much does an AI concierge cost?
Three of the seven in this guide publish a price as of October 2026: Rep AI at $130 a month for 10,000 website sessions billed monthly ($105 billed yearly), AI-Concierge at 150 EUR a month during setup and then from 250 EUR a month for 500 questions (excluding VAT), and Synthflow with contracts from $30,000 a year. Mindbody's comes in quote-priced plans, and its $79 a month per location Starter plan does not include it. Decagon, Concierge and Sojern sell by demo or consultation.
4. What is the difference between an AI concierge and a chatbot?
Vendors draw the line at action. Mindbody says "Traditional chatbots follow scripted paths", while its AI Concierge "can take action by booking, rescheduling, and canceling appointments"; Decagon's glossary says "Standard chatbots are built around decision trees or keyword matching." The longer answer is in this guide to how an AI agent differs from a chatbot.
5. Will AI replace concierges?
No source I read predicts that. The US Bureau of Labor Statistics counted 49,240 concierges employed in May 2025, at a median annual wage of $38,950. The products here keep people in the loop: Mindbody alerts staff "when your team needs to jump in", and Decagon's glossary says an AI concierge "hands off to a human agent with full context intact".
6. Is an AI concierge the same as an AI receptionist?
Not usually. A receptionist answers the phone, while most concierge products here work in chat, text messages or WhatsApp. The exceptions are Synthflow, built for phone calls (its own page also calls the product an AI receptionist), and Decagon, which adds voice to chat and email. Receptionist prices are in this guide to what an AI receptionist costs.
7. Is there a free AI concierge?
None of the seven has a free plan as of October 2026. Rep AI has a 14-day free trial with no card, and the others start with a demo, a consultation or, at AI-Concierge, a paid setup phase that begins at project commitment.
