Zapier counts a task each time a step does something. Make counts a credit for the same event and calls it a module action. n8n counts one execution when a workflow runs, no matter how many steps it has. Activepieces counts one credit per run too. The consequence: a four-step workflow that runs 1,500 times is 6,000 tasks on Zapier, 6,000 credits on Make, and 1,500 of the unit on n8n or Activepieces. Two platforms look four times more expensive than they are, or four times cheaper, depending on which page you read first.
The converter fixes the arithmetic. You give it the number you already know and the steps in a typical run, and it shows the same month of work in every other unit, next to the lowest published plan that covers it, from prices I read on 11 September 2026. Where a vendor prices the next step on a slider, the row says "from" and points you at their page. Gravity is a flat plan, so its row does not move.

Zapier tasks and Make credits count every step; n8n executions and Activepieces credits count every run. So the converter divides task-style units by your steps per run to get run-style units, and multiplies the other way. You tell it the steps per run; the default is four.
